About a few weeks ago I had opportunity to visit Kemp Town Carnival in Brighton, England. It is kind like village party that all the people in community are welcome to join, actually a lot of people who live somewhere else also came down to celebrate together no matter you are young or almost hundred years old this event has things for everyone. The event started in the morning with flowers parade with steel and samba bands, one thing I love the most is there a group of special people who join the band all along, I think it really give the sense of whole community that everyone join together no matter the ability you have, everyone can have fun!. There are children area with games, work shops and theatre with a lot of food stalls and sweet that your kids will not get bore easily, for an adult of course there are a lot of booze going on around and foods if you hungry or you can shop around for hand-made crafts from local artists, and for the one who love music, there are fours main stages which perform different kinds of music from punk to jazz, and a street theatre that will pop up here and there with an absurd story line which have no end or beginning or even a story but who care… for all of this is just for the sake of having fun, I think that is all we need, of course apart from food, air, shelter and blarrr blah blah…..
